Another PowerBook G3 donated.

Today was a great day for the PC self sustainability project. We received another donated laptop in the mail in perfect working condition: another PowerBook G3, this one with 256MB RAM and a 60GB hard drive (an upgrade by the previous owner).

I have to say the machine is in great condition. The previous owner, a Mr. Sato from Tokyo, obviously took great care of his PowerBook over the years.

The story of how we got the machine is interesting too. Apparently, he was looking for someone who would accept donated hardware, specifically a PowerBook G3, and found this blog because of the article mentioning the previous donation of the same model. He contacted us via the form and sent us the machine when we got back to him.

Hopefully we will finish AwaOS soon so we can find a new home for this PowerBook where it will be taken just as good care of as it was by Mr. Sato. Thanks Sato-san!
